Will and Kallie... where should I begin?
They fell in love as teenagers volunteering with a ministry to children in poverty. They are weird and wild. They are smart and sassy. They are curious and caring. They are adventurous and adaptable. They are bold and brave.
They are the sort of couple that spins everything back around the other people with a fierce desire to love. During our engagement session, they volunteered to drive to help my family pack boxes during our move. They care about people and treat everyone like they matter.
I've had the honor of knowing befriending two as individuals and a couple. I randomly got Kallie's contact card for interest in a campus ministry I was a leader in. We got nachos and chatted, though it wasn't until later when we realized that our hearts were made of the very same things. Will sat next to me in a sociology class and from the first day hearing that he wanted to travel the world and become a counselor, I knew we were meant to be friends.
These two bless my life with their magic, intentionality, and enthusiasm. They carry laughter and deep conversations with them wherever they go. Kallie nerds out with me about ways to end poverty and Will asks questions that make me think. I'm so thankful for these two gems and our magical Duluth engagement adventure!
I'm also thankful for Wormewoole and the fantastic Sara who's AMAZING hats and mittens are featured in this shoot! They are warm, gorgeous, and locally made. I highly recommend following her on instagram and checking out all the magic!
